ATS’s main focus is on structural light weight composite materials, that are ergonomic and energy efficient.
Fiberglass is an immensely versatile material due to its light weight, inherent strength, weather-resistant finish, and variety of surface textures. As one of the strongest and longest lasting materials used in construction, FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) is an optimal and cost-effective solution. It weighs 75% less than steel while having similar compressive strengths. It will withstand higher bending loads and still return to its original position after deflection. It absorbs sound and vibration better than steel all while having virtually no thermal conductivity.
FRP is strong, light weight, corrosion resistant and non-conductive. It therefore allows for better safety measures and more flexible design capabilities than steel, aluminum, or structural wood.
FRP can be designed in virtually any shape or form and produced in large quantities at reasonable manufacturing cost.
FRP produces less GHG compared to steel, aluminum, cement, or other products.
The pultrusion process is a very efficient way to manufacture composite products. It allows the strategic placement of continuous strands of glass fiber, fiberglass mats, even carbon fiber filaments to produce optimized structural properties. We have taken these materials and developed new and unrivaled applications in combination with other materials to construct:
- Residential and Commercial Buildings
- Mounting systems for solar panels
- Above ground and underground piping systems for infrastructure
