Hasnain is the Manager of Innovation and Business Services at SSRIA.
He has the exciting role of helping support companies in their ability to grow through the Business Growth Program and in connecting with relevant stakeholders through exposure-driven events such as the Smart Sustainable Tech Showcase.
He comes from a background in the non-profit and startup space. He has previously been a co-founder of a non-profit building a sustainable orphanage in Southeast Asia and the founder of Duhaa Foundation that works to reduce food insecurity and food waste.
He is also the founder and CEO of a growing Social Impact Tech Startup and has served as a Startup Coach to many agnostic acceleration stage companies in Alberta while also facilitating workshops for various Startup Programs.
In his free time, he loves going to the mountains, exploring new places, and spending time reading books. He is an information hoarder so is always exciting to have a conversation about just about anything!
