Dean Jones is a motivated, socially conscious, and environmentally active leader with over a decade of experience as a Principal Investigator at SAIT’s Green Building Technology Access Center (GBTAC). Dedicated to driving positive change, Dean specializes in applied research focused on architectural ecology, renewable energy systems, and deep retrofits. His extensive project portfolio includes living walls, passive solar greenhouses, and rainwater harvesting guidelines.
Passionate about reducing carbon emissions within the built environment, Dean is committed to continuing research efforts that “move the dial” on environmental awareness. He joins the SSRIA Board to align his professional expertise with his personal values, working collaboratively to accelerate the adoption of innovative, low-carbon solutions and help achieve a zero-carbon built environment by 205.
